Appointment Arrival Policy
Please arrive 10 (ten) minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. We make every effort to see you and your pets in a timely manner. If you are more than 15 (fifteen) minutes late, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment for a later date and time.
Walk-ins will be accommodated as scheduling allows, but appointments are preferred. Emergency cases will receive top priority, followed by clients that are on time for scheduled appointments. There may be additional charges for walk-in and emergency appointments.
Late Arrivals and Cancellation Policy
If you are more than 15 (fifteen) minutes late for your scheduled appointment time, we reserve the right to reschedule your appointment for a later date and time. If we can accommodate you, we will be adjusting our schedule by transitioning you to walk-in status. We understand that delays happen, but we do our best to service clients and patients that are here on time and prepared for their appointments. Please call us at (918) 957-5556 if you believe you may be late to your appointment.
Missed Appointments
Failure to show for a scheduled medical appointment without a call impacts our service. As such, there may be deposits required prior to future appointments.
All surgical and dental procedures are scheduled with a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. Any cancellation with less than 48 hours’ notice will forfeit the deposit. If cancelled with more than 48 hours’ notice, your deposit can be transferred to the rescheduled date.
Call our hospital at (918) 957-5556 to schedule or reschedule your appointments.
Patient Arrival Policy
For your protection, as well as that of others and their pets, all dogs must be on a leash and all cats must be in a carrier or on a leash. All pets must be properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms.
If your cat is afraid of the carrier, you can help acclimate them to the carrier in the days prior to your appointment by keeping it out and open, then placing it near their food. You can also spray Feliway in the carrier 30 minutes before you need to load them in the carrier.
We offer pheromone technology products Feliway and Adaptil in our pharmacy, and we can have a treated bandanna prepared for your pet’s appointment. Call us at (918) 957-5556 and let us know how we can help your pet’s visit to be as stress-free as possible.
Medication Refill Requests
Please allow our staff 24 – 48 hours to fulfill any medication requests. Prescription requests can be made in person during an appointment or over the phone at (918) 957-5556.

Online Pharmacy Policy
The goal of Animal House Veterinary Hospital is to provide the best medicine we can for your pet. Unfortunately, it has become increasingly frequent for online pharmacies to fill incorrect medication, lose faxed requests, or dispense black market/counterfeit medication. We have seen these mistakes cause significant illness, or in the worst case, death in pets. Because of this, we are offering the following prescription options:
- You can have your pet’s medication filled at our in-house pharmacy. We and our vendors guarantee the safety of our products, and ensure that your pet is getting the medication that is prescribed in a timely manner.
- You can order your pet’s medication from our trusted online pharmacy, VetSource – this allows you to keep your pet on any medication that we may not carry, or to utilize certain coupons and discounts that we can not provide in-house.
- We can write a prescription for your pet at the time of your exam. If you choose to wait, please understand that it can take up to 48 hours for your prescription to be ready for pickup. This way, our hospital is released from any liability, as we can not control the product and the accuracy of the prescription you are sent. Please ensure that if you choose this option, you pick up your prescription with enough time to get the medication when you need it- we are not responsible for delays due to the mail.
Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns regarding this policy.
